摘要

Abstract

The changing law of the biomass and carbon storage in different stand structures ( single tree ,the tree layer ,the understory vegetation ,litter layer ) of different age groups was probed into based on the investiga-tion of the biomass and the determination of the carbon content rate of natural Pinus massoniana forest in central Jiangxi Province .The results showed that the biomass of each organ of tree layer and single tree was on the rise with the increase of stand age .The biomass of each organ of single tree of different age groups accounted for dif -ferent proportions of the total biomass ,the biomass distributing sequence of different organs in young forest and middle-age forest was:trunk>root>branch>leaf>bark;in the near-mature forest ,mature forest and overmature forest was:trunk>branch>root>bark>leaf;the biomass of understory vegetation and litter layer did not show the variation of rising with the increase of stand age .The carbon storage in tree layer rose with the increase of stand age, the carbon storage amounts in the 5 age groups were 15.58 t/hm2 , 22.54 t/hm2 , 28.27 t/hm2 , 33.87 t/hm2 and 66.14 t/hm2 respectively;the average carbon storage amounts in shrub and herb under forestwere 3.18 t/hm2 and 2.37 t/hm2;the average carbon storage amounts of litter in undecomposed layer and half-decomposed layer were 0.43 t/hm2 and 0.37 t/hm2;the distributions of carbon storage in tree layer,understoryvegetation and litter layer were 80.92%,16.80%,and 2.28% respectively.
