Abstract
Objective To investigate the curative effects of nasal douche combined with Mometasone Furoate Nasal Spray for the treatment of secretory otitis media (SOM ) in children .Methods A total of 70 children with SOM ,treated in this hospital from August 2012 to August 2013 ,were randomly divided into control group ,given con-ventional treatment ,and observation group ,given combined treatment of conventional therapy ,nasal douche and Mo-metasone Furoate Nasal Spray .Curative effects of the two groups were compared .Results After two weeks of treat-ment ,the total effective rate and total improving efficiency of function of eustachian tube in observation group were 91 .4% and 91 .4% ,which were significantly higher than the 68 .6% and 71 .4% in control group ,respectively (χ2 =5 .714 ,P<0 .05 ,χ2 =4 .629 ,P<0 .05) .Conclusion Combined application of nasal douche and Mometasone Furoate Nasal Spray could be with obvious curative effect for the treatment of SOM in children ,without adverse reaction .关键词
