Abstract
Objective: To observe the effectiveness of fixed orthodontic appliance in the treatment of teeth luxation. Methods:35 patients with traumatic teeth luxation were treated by fixed orthodontic appliance with twin-wire arch ligation and fixation for 3~6 months. The degree of the traumatic teeth looseness, periodontal condition and occlusion relationship were analyzed before and after the treatment. Results: All patients′ traumatic teeth luxation were cured effectively. The sick teeth and the antagonistic teeth restored good occlusion relationship. Periodontal tissue condition appeared normal and no looseness was found. Alveolar bone and tooth root had no apparent resorption. Teeth crown and teeth root displayed no apparent changes. Conclusion: The treatment of the traumatic teeth luxation using fixed orthodontic appliance is safe and curatively effective, so this method is worth for mass clinical application.关键词
