Abstract
Objective To observe the effect of intermittent atomization with vibration expectoration machine on patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Methods One hundred patients with COPD were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 50 cases in each group. Besides routine drug treatment ,the intermittent atomization combined with vibration expectoration machine was applied in observation group ,but persistent atomization combined with vibration expectoration machine in control group. The effect of sputum elimination and side effects were compared between two groups. Results There were more sputum eliminated in observation group than that in control group on the first, third and the fifth day after atomization and less side effects. The difference of sputum and side effects were statistically significant between two groups (P<0.05). Conclusion The intermittent atomization combined with vibration expectoration machine is effective for eliminating sputum and reducing side effects thus patients are with good tolerance.关键词
