Abstract
SmalltownsinwesternChinaarecharacterizedbytheirundevelopedeconomyandrelativelyoutdatedtechnology.HeilongtanTownlo-catedat remoteandmountainareawheretechnicalsupportwasdeficient.Takingitstechnicalandeconomicconditionintoconsideration,thesim-ple and modified Carrousel(A2/C)oxidation ditch was employed based on its influent quality and effluent requirement.This engineering design could achieve high efficiency at low cost and convenient operation, which was suitable for the situation in western China.关键词
