Abstract
HebeiprovinceisinthewaterresourcesscarceareasinnorthChina, whereisthetopregioninhighlyutilizationdegreeforgroundwa-ter in the country. Handan is located in the south of Hebei province. Owing to less precipitation in recent years, the groundwater overdraft is seriously and the gap between groundwater supply and demand is obviously. According to thesingle parameter contrast and the Nemerow Index Method, thegroundwaterqualityofHandanin2013wasevaluatedusingthedataofHandanBureauforHydrologyandWaterResourcesSurvey ofHebeiProvince.TheresultsindicatedthatthegroundwaterqualityofeasternHandanwaspoorerandtheoutlookofgroundwaterusingwas worrying. According to the results, the cause of poorer groundwater quality was analyzed and the management advices were given. Under the situation of groundwater resources shortage, it is particularly important to rationally develop, utilize and protect the resources.关键词
