Abstract
Under the environment of Digital Library, author name ambiguity will lower the precision of information retrieval and degener-ate the quality of literature data collection. Automatic disambiguation method performs more effectively than traditional method on solving the contradictory of massive data growth and low artificial identification efficiency. In this paper, we present a taxonomy for the current representative author name disambiguation methods based on the way of clustering and the feature selection, and make a comparative analy-sis. Then, according to the domestic and overseas author name ambiguity phenomenon existed in the literature database, the paper puts for-ward a universal name disambiguation framework which is free from a certain database or language, so as to provide technical support for literature database system about how to apply suitable automatic disambiguation method.关键词
