Shortages and Proposals on Evaluation Index of Chinese Core Periodicals Bullet-point Overview
摘要
Abstract
Aiming at shortages on evaluation index of Chinese Core Periodicals Bullet-point Overview, some proposals are put forward a-bout h-index fit into evaluation index system, and further its value, significance and current practical application of h-index in the evalua-tion of journals are all illustrated. H-index and the Overview evaluation index basically represents three different dimensions of journal e-valuation as far as cited numbers and impact factor index are concerned, which are the"troika" of periodical evaluation. If h-index is in-cluded into its evaluation index system in the "Overview", not only can it effectively make up the defects of evaluation index system by the lack of investigation about important papers, highlighting the core value of journals, but also make the evaluation of the"Overview"deeper and more comprehensive;In addition, clever data processing method of h-index can effectively promote the objectivity, impartiali-ty and robustness of evaluation results so as to have a positive impact on leading journal development into a virtuous cycle track.关键词
