Work-family Relationship of the New Generation of Migrant Workers and Its Influence on Turnover Intention

Abstract
This article analyses the work and family relationship of the new generation of migrant workers and its influence on their turnover intention based on 1318 sample data collected from Shanghai , Chengdu and Yiwu .The work and family relationship of the new generation of migrant workers consists of four parts , namely, work-to-family conflict, family-to-work conflict, work-to-family facilitation and family-to-work facilitation .The result shows the new generation of migrant workers feel that family facilitates comparatively more for work , however , work facilitates less for family.It turns out to be that the facilitation between work and family has no direct relationship to turnover intention; instead , work-to-family conflict and family-to-work conflict have direct impacts on their turnover intention . In a word, the more work-to-family conflicts and family-to-work conflicts the new generation of migrant workers encounter , the more eager they will be to dismiss .关键词
