Abstract
In view of the low working efficiency of 2D design, a model library for 3D box type culvert is established on the ba-sis of CATIA-3D, and the quick and efficient 3D design of reinforced steel bar drawings is realized by using self-developed 3D hydraulic visualized CAD. The design method was applied in the main canal of Middle Route Project of South-to-North Water Diversion. Compared with the previous 2D design, the work of drawing and examination as well as the working days can be re-duced by the 3D method;meanwhile, the regular errors in the drawings can be avoided and the design efficiency improved great-ly. The 3D design method has been applied extensively in the Stage I Works of Middle Route Project of South-to-North Water Diversion.关键词
