摘要

Abstract

In order to improve automatic measuring standard,alleviate labor intensity and increase work safety,YMCP-1 model Microwave Current Meter was imported and developed to measure the Yellow River flow. This type meter transmits millimeter wave by circularly polarized manner with lager Doppler Frequency and strong echo signal,it is characterized by small size,light weight,lager storage capacity,simple operation and mainte-nance. 40 comparative tests between microwave velocity meter and rotor flow meter were carried out in 9 hydrology stations in the San-Hua reach of the Yellow River basin,the results show that YMCP-1 model microwave current meter reaches standard and conform to the requirements,and the measure errors of microwave velocity meter were in tolerance range with 5% of standard deviation and 10. 6% of total random uncertainty. Measur-ing time,height of hanging box and wind force and direction were the main influencing factors of comparative test accuracy.
