Abstract
Objective:To test the effect of nursing intervention on the improving of uncertainty in illness and social support in lung cancer patients who received radiotherapy .Methods:The patients(n=196) with lung cancer were assigned into two groups , nursing inter-vention group (n:98) and control group(n=98).The patients in the nursing intervention group received routine nursing education and in -dividual education based on the result of survey .Control group was received routine nursing education only .The medical uncertainty and social support were measured in both nursing intervention and control group before and after receiving the education .Results:Before inter-vention,there is no significant difference (100.1 ±10.8/104.6 ±7.3 ,t=-1.90,P>0.05;39.6 ±9.3 /40.5 ±8.9 ,t=-0.32 ,P>0.05) .However, the medical uncertainty reduced dramatically in the nursing intervention group (26.5 ±10.5 /20.8 ±10.6 ,t=-2.12 P =0.037).The number of social support test significantly increased in the patients who receiving additional nursing intervention com -pare to the control group(4.2 ±6.2/-0.72 ±12.2 ,t=2.01,P =0.049) .Significant negative correlations were found between per-ceived social and uncertainty before intervention (r=-0.37,P<0.05).Conclusion:Nursing intervention could effectively decrease un-certainty in the patients with lung cancer and increase the social support and availability .关键词
