Abstract
Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy of minimally invasive percutaneous plate osteosynthesis ( MIPPO) in combina-tion of locking compression plate ( LCP) for distal tibial fractures .Methods:Thirty-two patients who had received MIPPO in combination of LCP for distal tibial fractures in our hospital between October 2008 to October 2011 were involved in our retrospective investigation .Re-sults:All patients were followed up prospectively for an average of 16 months ( range 6 months to 24 months) , and all got primary heal-ing.According to Johner and Wruhs standard , the functions of ankle joint were excellent in 21 cases, good in 7 cases, may in 3cases and poor in 1 case(excellent rate:87.5%).Conclusions:Combined MIPPO and LCP in treatment of distal tibial fractures with a minimally in-vasive,higher healing rate, can be an early postoperative functional exercise ,less complications,is the treatment of distal tibial fractures as a good way.关键词
