摘要
Abstract
The Weibull distribution is one of the most widely used lifetime distributions in relia-bility and survival analysis .In the paper ,using the concept of a generalized pivot and a general-ized confidence interval ,we consider a generalized confidence interval for the reliability of series connection composed of components with two-parameter Weibull distribution . The generalized confidence interval can be obtained by numerical method and the computations are simple and straightforward .We can obtain the coverage probability of the generalized confidence interval . Simulation study show s that the coverage probability of the generalized confidence interval is very excellent .关键词
