摘要

Abstract

Preparation of spherical TiO2 using Panzhihua ilmenite by the process of hydrochloric acid leaching-sulfuric acid decomposition-separation of Fe3+ using EDTA-hydrolysis was studied .The conditions of sulfuric acid decomposition and leaching were examined .The results show that under the conditions of sulfuric acid concentration of 80% -85% ,the mass ratio between acid and titanic residue of (2 .0-2 .5)/1 ,the ratio between liquid volume and solid mass of 1/1 ,temperature of 70 ℃ ,the leaching rate of Ti is 97 .8% .High-purity spherical TiO2 with 99 .984% TiO2 is prepared by hydrolysis adding EDTA to suppress Fe3+ hydrolysis precipitation .The method has no purification process and only producing a little of waste acid ,has obvious benefits for reducing energy consumption and improving environment .
