摘要

Abstract

TCP family is a kind of transcription factors which contains some genes regulating the three -dimensional morphological development of plant organs and some genes regulating the cell cycle .The Se-qHunter2 soft ware was used to search and identify TCP gene family in maize genome .Seven maize ( Zea may) TCP family genes were identified and classed into 2 groups, ClassⅠand ClassⅡ, based on the evolu-tionary tree topology .Through the evolution analysis on TCP family in maize , Arabidopsis thaliana and rice, it was predicted that the species -specific expansion of TCP family maybe occured .The expansion maybe associ-ated with maize-specific vital movement and biological characteristics .The 7 genes had differences in motif combination , but all of them contained the 2 most conserved motifs .
