Abstract
Based on the basic research of the comprehensive plan of Shanghai, this paper positions Shanghai as the global city with the ful capacity of global resources al ocation, strong international competitiveness, influence and lead of national economic and social development. By placing Shanghai in the overal development of the Yangtze River Delta, the paper analyzes the basic features and the overal evolution, internal and external development conditions for urban agglomerations in the Yangtze River Delta, and proposes the overal development objectives and positioning. And then it puts forward special ideas of development strategy of urban agglomerations in the Yangtze River Delta, from the aspects of globalization process, regional integration, differentiated development strategy, spatial pattern of cities, world class urban agglomerations and regional governance strategy.关键词
