新型城镇化背景下珠三角城镇群发展研究
The Development Research on New-type Urbanization in the Pearl River Delta Mega City-regions

Abstract
Based on qualitative and quantitative research methods, this paper firstly reviews urbanization process of the Pearl River Delta from the beginning of the opening reform. It contains three stages of start-up, rapid and stable development. There stil exist several problems, such as extensive land use and ecological destruction, social lagging in semi-urban area and imbalance of distribution and public services. Secondly, from the perspective of planning background, content and spatial structure evolution, it sums up characteristics of five previous regional plans. Thirdly, using New Urbanization Index (NUI), it evaluates spatial patterns of the Pearl River Delta from 1990-2010. There are dual-cores, great disparity between inside and outside circle, and higher level of NUI in centre and new districts. Last not least, three strategies for regional coordination are proposed.关键词
