Study on Energy Saving and CO2 Reductions for Hybrid Electric and Blade Electric Vehicles

摘要

Abstract

By taking hybrid electric vehicles (HEV) and blade electric vehicles (BEV) as research subjects, the paper analyzes energy and carbon dioxide emission of HEV and BEV in vehicles fuels life cycle based on GREET model. Then the potential of CO2 reduction of HEV and BEV is simulated under GREET model in this paper, and the factors affecting CO2 emissions of BEV are power structure and power technology route. According to the result, the energy saving effect of BEV is better than HEV because the energy saving rates of HEV and BEV were 24.24%and 37.23%respectively in 2011, and BEV would change the fossil energy consumption structure of the vehicles. The CO2 reduction effect of HEV is better than BEV, because the CO2 reduction rates of HEV and BEV are 24.24%and 19.90%respectively. And BEV still has potential of CO2 reduction under the constant automotive technology. The energy saving and the CO2 reduction effect of BEV are better than HEV when proportion of thermal power is under 75%or the efficiency of thermal power exceeds 37%. At last, the emission reduction countermeasures were put forward in the paper.
