Abstract
During recent years, significant progress in spreading acupuncture knowledge has been made by the Institute of Acupuncture , China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences .These contributions include:1) Developing digitalized platforms of popularization science of acupuncture:Acupuncture part and International Communication part of Beijing Chinese Medicine Digital Museum were established , multimedia display system of acupuncture achievements in different dynasties was completed , the project of creation of popularization sci-ence of acupuncture knowledge supported by China Association for Science and Technology was undertaken ;2) Holding events on mak-ing acupuncture popularization , such as exhibition in Paris for China′s acupuncture being candidate to the list of World Intangible Cultur-al Heritage of Humanity, and exhibition on “Meet in Beijing” activity promoted by State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine . 3) Publishing popularization science of acupuncture books like Illustrated Acupuncture , Moxibustion for Healthcare, Historical Narra-tives of Acu-moxibustion,et al.关键词
