摘要

Abstract

Based on the local damage phenomenon occurred in the concrete panel of the rockfill dam of Tianshengqiao-1 Hydropower Station during multiple checks, concrete panel crack propagation and breakage behaviors are analyzed. The results show that the local damage in the concrete panel will not affect the safety of the whole rockfill dam. The results also show that the settlement deformation and thermal expansion are important factors of the broken panel. Therefore, the following measures for improvement of panel breakage are put forward: improving the computational method for the panel design, reducing the effect of sedimentation, reducing the effect of thermal expansion, and reasonablely arranging the construction schedule.
