Abstract
Production of transgenic plants is gradually becoming routine in cassava biotechnology. It is primarily through organogenesis and somatic embryogenesis, the key technology of cassava genetic transformation is friable embryogenic calli(FEC)induction and formation, Agrobacterium-mediated transformation of FEC is the most widely used method to generate transgenic cassava plants.This article provides an overview of cassava regeneration way including embryo and FEC preparation, induction and appreciation, the Agrobacterium-mediated transformation and its application in cassava were summarized.关键词
