Abstract
As for the deep and thick plain-fill subsoil, except needing to consider the negative friction force arising from soil consolidation settlement, the in-homogeneity on thickness and density, the influence on bridge foundation caused by horizontal wriggle of collapsible soil, also should be taken into account. In this paper, the foundation design of a super major bridge crossing above the Gongye Avenue on Nanning-Guangzhou Railway was taken as an example, and then comparison and selection for foundation scheme were carried out, together with the pile testing. The test results show that if a steel sleeve, which is painted by special asphalt, is installed outside of the pile, together with the utilization of a drilling mud sleeve, the negative friction force can be effectively reduced. Simultaneously, the steel sleeve can increase the horizontal resistance force of the pile structure effectively, resisting the horizontal deformation caused by horizontal wriggling of plain fill.关键词
