Abstract
Located in the southwest of the Tibet autonomous region, the Lasa-Shigatse Railway passes through nearly 90 km of the Brahmaputra Canyon area, where the terrain is undulant and changeable and the geological condition is complicated. In this study, the relevant characteristics were analyzed, including the railway network planning, the line's function orientation, the track junction scheme and the routing scheme, the geological condition along the line, the requirement of environment protection, the local economic development planning and so on. Furthermore, the basic principle and research idea of railway route selection in complicated mountain area were proposed in this study, serving as reference for railway route selection in similar mountain areas.关键词
