Study on reaction of sulfur-containing substances with ADA in modified stretford desulfurization Process

Abstract
In order to understand the desulfurization mechanism at microcosmic level, the reaction mechanism of sulfur-containing substances with ADA in the modified stretford process was investigated by using the cyclic voltammetry. The results showed that the ADA could directly react with sulfur-containing substances in the simulated H2S-absorbing liquid. The reaction process had a initial rapid reaction period of 5 seconds and a slow reaction period after 5 seconds. The kinetic study on the slow reaction period indicated that the reaction of sulfur-containing substances with ADA is a first-order reaction with the rate constant of 0.00175s-1.关键词
