摘要

Abstract

Storage and transportation of natural gas as hydrate was a developing novel technology, which based on the stability and dissociation characteristic of hydrates at different temperatures and pressures. The existence of anomalous self-preservation effect indicated that gas hydrates had favorable stability in specific low temperature range which provided powerful theoretical and experimental support for storage and transportation of natural gas as hydrate. The research progress in hydrate self-preservation effect and its application in storage and transportation of natural gas were summarized. Puzzles in study of self-preservation effect and challenges for developing the technology of storage and transportation of natural gas as hydrate were also pointed out.
