TRACING THE SOURCE OF GEOGAS MATERIALS WITH THE LEAD ISOTOPE METHOD IN THE WANGJIAZHUANG COPPER ORE DEPOSIT OF ZOUPING, SHANDONG PROVINCE

Abstract
Lead isotopic tracing is a method for identifying the ore-forming materials according to the lead isotope ratios of rocks, min-erals and their relationships. This method was used to trace the geogas components of the Wangjiazhuang copper deposit in Zouping, Shandong Province. A comparison of the lead isotope ratios of ores, wall-rocks and soil with those of geogas samples by using ICP-MS analysis shows that the lead isotopic composition of abnormal geogas samples is in accordance with that of ores, suggesting that the lead in abnormal geogas samples comes from deep-buried ore bodies.关键词
