摘要

Abstract

Traditional anemometer can′t get correct results when it is placed in a moving base , such as a car or a ship . This paper introduces a new ultrasonic anemometer which can measure wind velocity , wind direction and it can be placed in a moving base . This instrument gets velocity and direction of wind using ultrasonic transit-time difference measurement and gets velocity and direction of base using hall sensor and electronic compass . The microcontroller analyses and calculates these data to get correct wind velocity and direction . This instrument takes ARM controller as it core , which improves measurement accuracy and reduces power dissipation .
