Female Consciousness during the Late Qing Dynasty:New Images of Women in the Novels Nvyuhua and Huangxiuqiu
《女狱花》《黄绣球》是晚清新女性问题小说的代表作，对女性的日常生活和社会活动进行了大量的描写，塑造了许平权、黄绣球等令人耳目一新的女豪杰形象，蕴涵着很高的审美价值，表现了晚清时期先进知识分子的女性意识与思想观念的崭新变化。新女性形象及其意识的出现，是一定的文学传统、文化背景及其民族心理的积淀和启迪，也是作家思想观念与创作动机的集中表现。
