Female Consciousness during the Late Qing Dynasty:New Images of Women in the Novels Nvyuhua and Huangxiuqiu
摘要
Abstract
Nvyuhua and Huangxiuqiu were the representative works of female issues related novels during the late Qing dy-nasty, which mainly narrated women’s everyday lives and social activities, as well as some new images of women such as Xu Pingquan and Huang Xiuqiu etc., contained high aesthetic value, revealed the intellectuals of their female consciousness and the change of consciousness.The new image and consciousness are the accumulations and Enlightenment of literature tradition , cul-tural backgrounds and ethnic psychology, also the main manifestation of authors’ concept and motivation of creation.关键词
