摘要

Abstract

Epothilone B is a novel anti-cancer macrolide compound produced by sorangium cel-lulosum and show s the excellent activity against tumor both in antitumor spectra and in effect .This paper focused on the optimization of fermentation conditions of epothilone B pro-duced by sorangium cellulosum SoF5-76 .One-variable-at-a-time design and orthogonal exper-iments were employed to obtain the optimum fermentation conditons .The results were as follows :initial pH of fermentation medium 7 .4 ,medium volume 50/250 mL ,shaker revolu-tion 200 r/min ,seed age 60 h ,inoculation size 10% culture temperature 30 ℃ ,fermentation period 6 d .Under the optimized conditions ,the epothilone B production reached at 36 .57 mg/L and was 22 .1% higher than preliminary fermentation conditions .
