摘要

Abstract

The arch dam of Xiluodu Hydropower Project obviously impacts the slope at the arch end.Under the thrust action, the slope is deformed inward in certain degree.To decrease damage of the rock mass in the dam abutment by the arch end, difficulty of the abutment excavation is increased.On the other hand, the abutment excavation is required highly in term of quality.Indicators of the dam abutment excavation satisfy requirement through such measures being taken as modification of blasting-hole arrangement , quantity control of explo-sive charge, optimization of the blasting network, and improvement of hole-drilling machinery in construction.
