摘要

Abstract

The control system of PLC traffic lights is studied based on image processing technique. It is found that the time span of the traffic lights can be controlled by the detected vehicle running information. The results indicate that extending the traditional four phases to twelve phases at the intersection can make the empty waiting time in traditional traffic lights control system be full used,without changing the existing road conditions,and can improve the efficiency of road.
