摘要

Abstract

A multifunctional electronic coded lock is realized on CPLD by means of EDA technology. To make up the defi-ciencies of traditional coded lock and improve its reliability,the storage and computation of all the data in the system are imple-mented by the hardware. Circuit behaviors are described with VHDL. Simulation and download are implemented by the EDA tool in the software QuartusⅡ. The entire design adopts a top-down scheme with high efficiency and low development cost. The CPLD in the series of MAXII is taken as its hardware core of the coded lock,which has low power consumption and a logic exe-cution ability much stronger than that of single chip,so the electronic coded lock shows a strong market competitiveness in secu-rity industry.
