Abstract
Objective To investigate the ALDH2 gene polymorphism in part of Han population in Zhejiang province.Methods With 1370 blood samples of Han population in Zhejiang province ,the specific fragment of ALDH2 gene exon 12 were amplified using gene chip technique to judge the genotypes.Results The frequency distribution of ALDH2 mutant alleles was 44.5% in Han population of Zhejiang province.There was no statistical differences between the distributions of ALDH 2 genotype frequencies of the population in Zhejiang province compared with that in Shanghai district ;while there was a difference when compared to the population of Luoyang population.Conclusions The percentage of ALDH2 gene variant in Han population of Zhejiang province was nearly half ,which showed that the percentage of people lacking ALDH2 enzyme activity was nearly half ;and there was a regional difference of ALDH2 gene polymorphism between north and south in Chinese Han population.关键词
