摘要

Abstract

Objective The aim of this study was to examine the effect of EGCG on cocaine induced lo-comotor activity in mice ,and to explore its mechanism of action .Methods EGCG was pretreated before cocaine which was used by intraperitoneal injection .Locomotor activity was detected by behavioral test and the expres-sion of PICK1 protein in the nucleus accumbens ( NAc) was tested by Western blot .Results EGCG can inhibit cocaine induced locomotor activity ,and reduce the expression of PICK 1 protein in NAc.Conclusion EGCG may be important pharmocological effect to prevent cocaine induced drug abuse ,which may be related to inhibition of nucleus accumbens PICK 1 protein expression .
