接受美学视角下的电影字幕翻译
On Chinese-English Film Subtitle Translation from the Perspective of Reception Aesthetics
摘要
Abstract
For film subtitle translators , how to make the audience better receive the information embodied in filmic texts is always a big challenge .This paper attempts to examine film subtitle translation in the light of reception aesthetics .Focusing on the relationship be-tween the translator and the audience as well as the invocative structure inherent in filmic text , the author proposes two criteria for film subtitle translators, that is,"functional equivalence within the audience's horizon of expectation"and"following the implied reader", then gives concrete suggestions for film subtitling strategies based on the two factors -psychological factor and cultural factor , which in-fluence the audience's reception on film products .关键词
