Abstract
Objective To investigate and analyze the clinical features of histiocytic necrotizing lym-phadenitis ( HNL).Methods Thirty-two HNL patients in the Third Affiliated Hospital of SUN Yat-sen uni-versity from 1997 to 2012 were enrolled.The population characteristics , symptoms and signs , laboratory and pathological biopsy results , treatment and outcome of the patients were analyzed.Results Most HNL occurred in young people , and there were 2 children.The proportion of male and female was 1∶1.46.All patients had lymphadenectasis and fever, including skin rash (n=8, 25%) and leucopenia (n=21, 65.6%) .Leuko-penia decreased in 66% (21/32) cases, C reactive protein (CRP) increased in 63.2% (12/19) cases, e-rythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) increased in 66.7% (18/27) cases and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) increased in 92%(22/24) cases.40% (8/20) cases had positive antinuclear antibody (ANA).1 of 5 had positive cytomegalovirus ( CMV ) antibody.Lymph node biopsy shows typical pathological changes.93.8%(30/32) cases were given antibiotics, and 53.1% (17/32) cases were under the treatment of steroid.All ca-ses were cured, and 1 patient relapsed in 3 years.Conclusions HNL is a rare disease, which clinical fea-tures lack specifity.Glucocorticosteroid therapy is recommended for treatment.It should diagnosis HNL promptly to avoid abusing of antibiotics.关键词
