Abstract
Objective To establish a quality and safety management system for hyperbaric oxygen chambers, aiming to reduce or avoid accidents and errors in the hospital. Methods The quality and safety management system was established based on the study of corresponding regulations and standards concerning quality and security of hyperbaric oxygen chambers. The system shall be operated accordingly with implementation of sustained improvements. Results The hyperbaric oxygen chamber has been running in a good condition without occurrence of any accidents or errors concerning quality and security since the establishment of the system. Safe operation of hyperbaric oxygen chambers has been well guaranteed. Conclusion Establishment and operation of a relatively complete quality and safety management system for standardized management of hyperbaric oxygen chambers could ensure effective reduction or avoidance of accidents or errors in the aspects of quality and safety and provide security both for personnel and the hyperbaric oxygen chamber.关键词
