Abstract
Objective To explore the correlation between healthy people pulse wave velocity ( PWV) and retinal ar-teriosclerosis.Methods Between January 2011 to December 2012, 2 480 people underwent physical examination , analysis of the incidence of retinal arteriosclerosis , retinal arteriosclerosis and to explore the risk factors and the correlation with PWV . Results There were 138 cases of retinal arteriosclerosis appeared in normal volunteers of 2 480 cases (5.56%) served as observation group , which grade I lesions in 95 cases (3.83%), grade II lesions 21 cases (0.85%), grade III lesions in 17 cases (0.69%), grade IV lesions in 5 cases (0.20%).Compared with non-retinal arteriosclerosis group (control group) , the average age of the observation group , glucose glycated proteins (HbAlc), total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), systolic blood pressure (SBP), PWV levels were significantly increased, the difference was statistically significant ( P <0.05), while gender, body mass in-dex (BMI), diastolic blood pressure (DBP) were not significantly different ( P >0.05).With the deepening of retinal arte-riosclerosis, PWV was significantly increased , univariate analysis showed that retinal sclerosis PWV was positively correlated ( r =0.451, P <0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed that , PWV, HbAlc, SBP, TG are independent risk factors for retinal arteriosclerosis, OR (95%CI) were 1.984 (1.021-5.201), 1.658 (1.187-3.964), 1.587 (1.085-3.412), 1.375 (1.052-4.101).Conclusion Pulse wave velocity and the retina is closely related to the degree of atherosclerosis , are independent risk factors for retinal arteriosclerosis , have some predictive value .关键词
