Abstract
Objective To observe the changes of serum transforming growth factor -β1 (TGF-β1 ) and connective tis-sue growth factor (CTGF) in patients with chronic heart failure (CHF) and and its clinical significance.Methods Collected 105 cases of patients with CHF as CHF group , with 68 cases of healthy people as healthy control group .Serum TGF-β1 , CT-GF levels and left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), left ventricular mass index (LVMI) changes were analyzed.Results CHF patients 'serum TGF-β1 , CTGF were significantly higher than the healthy group ( P <0.01);TGF -β1 , CTGF in-creased in parallel with the severity of heart failure ; TGF-β1 , CTGF were negatively correlated with LVEF ( r =-0.638, P <0.01; r =-0.743, P <0.01), and LVMI ( r =0.630, P <0.01; r =0.748, P <0.01), NYHA functional class (r =0.647, P <0.01; r =0.753, P <0.01) were positive correlated.Conclusion Serum TGF-β1 , CTGF participate in the pathophysiological process of CHF ; serum CTGF levels can be used as biological indicators of the diagnosis and determine the severity of heart failure.关键词
