Abstract
Selecting the swelling soil from the Pingdingshan section of the Middle Route Project of South -to-North Water Diversion as the test sample ,certain properties of the cement modified soil were studied through the indoor and outdoor compaction test ,the titration test and the expansion rate test ,w hich gives a reference to both design and construction of the cement modified soil .The cement modified soil effective-ly reduces the expansion rate of the swelling soil and increases the stability of the embankment ,thus ensu-ring the cement modified soil embankment construction quality of the Pingdingshan section of the south -to-north water diversion project by replacing the swelling soil .关键词
