Abstract
Objective To compare the two type reconstructions of cranial defect cranioplasty, using digital moulding titanium net or conventional titanium net. Methods A total of 76 patients with cranial defects were divided into two groups. One group (group A) recevied reconstruction of cranial defect cranioplasty using digital moulding titanium net,the other group (group B) recevied conventional titanium net. Two methods were evaluated through comparing the time of surgery,the amounts of titanium bolts and the rate of complications (such as postoperative infection,subcutaneous fluidify, titanium bolts loosing or shedding) ocurring. Results The group A had shorter surgery time ,fewer titanium bolts and lower rate of complications ocurring than the group B. The dif erences were statistical y significant (t=8.39,t=11.82,X2=7.37,P<0.05). Conclusions The reconstruction of cranial defect cranioplasty using digital moulding titanium net has the merits,such as shorter surgery time,fewer titanium bolts and lower rate of complications ocurring,compared using conventional titanium net.And it can be used extensively in clinic.关键词
