Abstract
Objective To investigate the value of 24h active electroencephalogram (AEEG) in children with sleep disorders. MethodsThirty-eight children with sleep disorders were recruited in the study.24h AEEG and routine electroencephalogram (REEG) were compared and analyzed in children. Results Eighteen cases appeared abnormal 24h AEEG among 38 cases (47.4%).Five cases appeared abnormal REEG among 38 cases (13.2%).There were significant dif erence when compared with each other (P<0.05). Conclusions 24h AEEG is very useful in the diagnosis of sleep disorders and in distinguishing from nocturnal paroxysmal epilepsy.关键词
