摘要
Abstract
Objective To explore the diagnostic value of pulse wave velocity in early vascular disease in patients with abnormal glucose metabolism. Method 100 cases with impaired glucose regulation (IGR), 100 cases with type 2 diabetes (suf ered from diabetes within 5 years) were chosen, while 100 normal glucose tolerance persons were chosen as control group.(al of them without serious cardio-cerebra vascular diseases). Pulse wave velocity were measured, and height, weight, blood pressure, fasting plasma glucose(FPG), postprandial blood glucose(2hPG),triglyceride(TG),total cholesterol(TC) of al the cases were tested. Then we contrasted the dif erence pulse wave velocity between the three groups by T test. Results We found it displayed a significant dif erence (P<0.05)in peripheral artery PWV between the impaired glucose regulation group (1350±220cm/s), the type 2 diabetes group (1780±390cm/s),and the normal glucose tolerance group (970±150cm/s). Conclusion Type 2 diabetics and impaired glucose regulation suf ers had significantly higher levels of peripheral artery PWV, compared with normal glucose tolerance group. Pulse wave velocity may play important roles in early finding and timely intervention of vascular complication in patients with disorders of glucose metabolism.关键词
