Abstract
Ojective:To investigate the significance of the sleep apnea quality of life index (SAQLI) and the epworth sleepness scale for quality of life in patients with obstruction Sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS) after uvulopalatopharyngoplasty(UPPP). Methods:Tirty patients with OSAHS were treated by UPPP. SAQLI and ESS was surveyed before and six months after surgery. Results:Compared with the qualities of life after operation,by SA-QLI and ESS, statistical significance was obvious, (P<0.01). Quality of life was improved in 83.3%eases in general. Conclusion: The amelioration of quality of life in OSAHS patients is significant after UPPP.SAQLI and ESS can be a valuable measurement in quality of life in patients with OSAHS after UPPP.关键词
