摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the outcome of total proctocolectomy with ileal pouch-anal anastomosis in treating colorectal slow transit constipation (STC). [Methods] 23 cases of colorectal STC underwent total proctocolectomy with ileal pouch-anal anastomosis ,and determine the procedures according to observing defecation of preoperative and postoperative. [Results] 23 patients achieved satisfactory results, of which 19 patients were basical y recovered, natural bowel movement 2 or 3 times perday,stool shape, no fecal incontinence,without taking laxatives or antidiarrheal agents; and 4 patients were taking antidiarrheal agents, suf ering stool frequencies from 2 to 8 times perday, stool basic shape, no fecal incontinence. [Conclusion] The total proctocolectomy with ileal pouch-anal anastomosis is the ef ective surgical treatment of slow transit constipation.关键词
