Abstract
Objective To investigate the expression and its clinical significance of Trop-2 in human breast cancer tissue. Methods The expression of Trop-2 protein were detected with immunohistochemistry in 120 tumor tissue sample,30 cyclomastopathy tissue and 30 normal breast tissue. Results The positive rate of Trop-2 expression in breast cancer tissue was 84(67.2%),11(36.7%) in cyclomastopathy tissue and 8 (26.7%)in normal breast tissue. In addition, Trop-2 overexpression was related with tumor pathological grading, lymph node metastasis and clinical stage,but not with age and tumor size. Conclusion Breast cancer patients have higher expression of Trop-2 which is correlated with cancer progression and Trop-2 may be a potential therapeutic target for breast cancer.关键词
