Abstract
Objective To evaluate the curative effect of noninvasive positive pressure ventilation (NIPPV)on patients with acute respiratory failure of COPD.Methods A total of 48 patients with acute respiratory failure of COPD were randomly divided into treatment and control groups which were treated with conventional therapy plus NIPPV therapy and nasal oxygen catheter, respectively. Improvements in clinical symptoms and blood gas indexes were compared between the two groups. Results The level of arterial blood gas (ABG) and the clinical of the treatment group were significant bet er than that of the control (P<0.05). Conclusion Non-invasive ventilator can quickly relieve acute exacerbation of COPD and respiratory failure in patients suf ered form acute deterioration of COPD complicated with respiratory failure,thus can relieve breathing dif iculties and avoid intubation.关键词
