Abstract
Objective To investigate the ef ect of tramadol combined with lidocaine in removal of intrauterine device (IUD)in postmenopausal women. Methods 136 postmenopausal women were randomly divided into observation group (n=68) and control group (n=68).The control group was operated under the local anesthesia with lidocaine while the observation group was operated under the local anesthesia with lidocaine and was given intramuscular injection tramadol . Then observed the ef ect of two groups. Results There were significant dif erences in extent of the cervical softening, success rate of IUD removal, amount of bleeding and operation time between the two groups (P<0.05). The observation group compared with the control group had the highly significant dif erence in the ef ect of analgesia (P<0.01). There was no obvious adverse reaction in the two groups. Conclusion Tramadol combined with lidocaine in removal of IUD in postmenopausal women can obviously improve the success rate of the surgery and reduce the pain of the women.It is ef ective and safe.关键词
