Abstract
Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of 13C-ura breath test for Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection in children. Methods 107 Children with abdominal pain as cardinal symptom were detected by 13C-ura breath test (13C-UBT) . Results 19 from 107 children with abdominal pain were diagnosed as positive for H. pylori infection by 13C-UBT. The positive rate was 17.76%.Among them , the positive rate of male was 13.79%,while the positive rate of female was 22.25%.The dif erence between them was not statistical y significant. Conclusion Helicobacter pylori ( H. pylori ) infection rate was high in children with abdominal pain in Foshan. 13C-ura breath test (13C-UBT) was simple, safe and reliable in diagnosis of H. pylori .关键词
